On January 12, 2023, Mr. Cai Run, the Chinese ambassador to Israel, visited Galilee International Management Institute and held a cordial meeting with the President of GIMI, Dr. Joseph Shevel, and the CEO, Mr. Guy Wolf, and other managers. Mr. Peng Sizhen, Minister Counsellor for Science and Technology of the Chinese Embassy in the Embassy, and other embassy officials also participated in the event.

 

Mrs. Yani Xie, Director of Cooperation with China at GIMI introduced to the ambassador and his delegation the training results with China in the past 18 years. Indeed, GIMI has successfully trained more than 2,000 Chinese students.

Dr. Shevel introduced the training programmes provided by GIMI to more than 170 countries around the world and the situation of major international training programmes in the past 36 years.

Ambassador Cai spoke highly of GIMI’s efforts to support training in China and the world. He also introduced the main achievements and significance of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to the Israeli meeting participants.

Ambassador Cai pointed out that China adheres to the basic national policy of openness, firmly pursues a mutually beneficial and win-win opening strategy and promotes this at a high-level. China's new development will bring new opportunities to countries around the world, including Israel, and open broader prospects for China-Israel relations.

The Chinese embassy is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Galilee International Management Institute in Israel and hopes that GIMI can continue to play a greater role in promoting mutual understanding and cooperation between China and Israel, as well as in the cultivation of talents.
