Questions About Travel and Israel

Flights are not included in the participation fee. This is a separate expense to be covered by the participant or his/her sponsor. Flights must be independently booked by the participant.

Israel has one international airport, named after the country's first Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion. Ben-Gurion International Airport is situated near Israel’s financial capital, Tel Aviv, and is sometimes also referred to as the Tel Aviv airport (TLV).

Galilee International Management Institute will help you process your entry visa to Israel. After being accepted by our Admissions Committee and completing all registration procedures, including payment of the participation fees, the Israeli Ministry of Interior will authorise the participant’s entry to Israel. The participant will receive a document stating his eligibility for a visa.

As some countries have an Israeli embassy and others do not, the participant will receive specific instructions from our Registrar’s Office on where to proceed with this document in order to receive the visa stamp in his/her passport.

The medical insurance provided by Galilee Institute covers general health ailments that occur during your stay with us. It includes emergency treatment and hospitalisation if required. It does not cover preexisting health problems including side effects of HIV/AIDS and HIV/AIDS medication or pregnancy-related care. Dental care is not covered, except for minor first-aid treatments. All other dental procedures must be paid for by the participant.

While the news media often portray conflict and violence in Israel, it is considered a safe country to travel to. During politically “hot” times in the country, there are specific areas which we would not advise visiting. Those areas are distant from Galilee Institute’s campus and there are never study tours to any sites where the participants’ safety and security cannot be guaranteed.

If you would like to speak personally to one of our alumni about their experience in Israel, please write to us at info@galilcol.ac.il and we will be happy to get you in touch. You are also welcome to review the lists of our graduates and contact one from your home country independently.

During the weekends, you will be taken on trips to several of Israel's most important religious and historical sites

Questions About the Registration Procedure

Once you submit an online registration for a particular programme, the Programme Director will contact you by email within a week. In this email, you will receive the application package as well as instructions on how to complete the application process. The Programme Director will be your “go-to” person if any questions or concerns arise.

A university degree is required in order to take part in all Galilee International Management Institute programmes. However, if you hold a senior management position in the field of study, an exception can be made.

The fee covers:

  • Programme Fees
  • Accomodation
  • Full Board
  • Medical Insurance
  • Excursions
  • AirPort Transfer

The Cost of Participation does not cover:

  • Flight Ticket
  • Tuition Fees

All eligible applicants may apply for a tuition scholarship. The Admissions Committee will decide which of the applicants will receive a scholarship for every intake.

In order to apply for the tuition scholarship, you must complete the regular registration procedure. Once you either fill out the online registration form or directly contact the Programme Director, you will be sent a registration package with forms and instructions. In order to complete the registration procedure you must send the Programme Director the following as email attachments:

  • Registration Form (mark that you are requesting a tuition scholarship)
  • Visa Application Form
  • Sponsor’s Guarantee of Payment (signed and stamped)
  • Copy of your Full Curriculum Vitae
  • Passport Copy (all pages)
  • Declaration of Intent Form (signed)

The Admission Committee will review all applications and decide who will receive a tuition scholarship. You will be notified of their decision within two weeks after submission of your application.

It does not. The cost of participation and the flight ticket are not covered by the tuition scholarship. These costs must be covered by the participant or his/her sponsor.

No, Galilee International Management Institute is unable to offer its candidates a full scholarship.

The Cost of participation is usually covered by sponsorship by the participant’s employer or by an international or national organisation. The participant should request such sponsorship independently.

In double occupancy accommodation, two participants share a room. In single occupancy accommodation, one participant has a room to him/herself. Single occupancy accommodation is the more expensive option.
