Dr. Joseph Shevel, GIMI’s President, had the great pleasure to meet Ms. Amina J. Muhammed, who was appointed Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations after serving as the Nigerian Minister of Environment from 2015-2016. Ms Muhammed is adept in GIMI’s programmes and is hopeful that by promoting GIMI and our programmes in Africa, we can collectively fight environmental crises and adversities.
