15/12/2018 | We Sadly Mourn the Passing of President H.E. Dr. Girma Woldes Giorgos

We wanted to address the sad passing of the Late President H.E. Dr. Girma Woldes Giorgos, as he was a personal acquaintance of our President, Dr. Joseph Shevel. Many GIMI staff members also had the privilege of meeting His Excellency Dr. Giogos. They first held a meeting in Ethiopia in 2015, where Dr. Shevel presented His Excellency with his idea of a peace plan between Ethiopia and Eritrea, as well as inviting His Excellency to visit Israel: Further information and photos can be found here.

The President accepted Dr. Shevel's invitation and in May, 2016 Dr. Shevel was delighted to host His Excellency Dr. Girma Wolde-Giorgis at our Head Office in Nahalal. Further information and photos can be found here
