Prof. Oathokwa Nkomazana Named as Permanent Secretary in Botswana's Ministry of Health

We are thrilled to share this incredible achievement that exemplifies dedication, perseverance, and the power of education. On 3 October, Prof. Oathokwa Nkomazana ascended to a position of great responsibility and leadership in the healthcare sector of Botswana.

As Permanent Secretary, she has been entrusted with the pivotal role of overseeing and managing the entirety of Botswana's health system. This appointment is a testament to her exceptional capabilities.

In 2016, she took part in Galilee Institute’s Health Systems Management Course. Fast forward to today, and we are overjoyed to announce such an achievement. When she informed us of the new role, she shared with us how grateful she was to have taken part in our health systems training. We feel honoured to be part of her incredible journey.
