The total tuition fee for the 3-year duration of the programme is 6,000 Euros.

5. I want to put my studies on hold can I get a refund? 

In line with standard practices for online education, we cannot provide refunds once the courses have commenced. However, students have the option to resume their studies after a negotiated holding period, as arranged with university officials.

6. What is the approach to teaching and learning in the programme? 

The Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is delivered entirely online, providing a flexible learning environment for students. The programme uses advanced e-learning methods and platforms to facilitate coursework, lectures, and interaction with professors and peers. 7. What is the ECTS? 

ECTS stands for the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System, a standard for comparing the study attainment and performance of students across the European Union and other participating European countries. It facilitates the recognition of qualifications and the mobility of students between different educational institutions.

The Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering follows the ECTS framework to ensure compatibility and recognition of credits earned by students. This Bachelor's Degree programme is assigned 180 ECTS credits. These credits can be transferred or accumulated, allowing students to build a comprehensive academic profile that is recognized within the ECTS system.

8. What is the programme's structure? 

The programme spans three years and is divided into courses totalling 60 ECTS in the first year, 65 ECTS in the second year, and 65 ECTS in the third year. 9. What about finding employment after the programme? 

After completing your degree, you'll find excellent employability prospects. Graduates have the chance to secure up to three-year job placements in civil engineering firms in North America and Northern Europe, offering valuable hands-on experience. These positions typically come with contracts that include monthly salaries ranging from €2,000 to €3,000, setting you on a solid path towards a successful career in civil engineering.

10. What documents are required? 

To register for the programme, you need to provide the following documents:

1. A copy of your valid ID card or passport.
2. Your High School Diploma Certificate in English.
3. A letter from your graduated High School confirming completion of at least 12 years of schooling and qualification for university studies (Level 5 according to EQF or equivalent).
4. An updated CV.
5. English language certification at a minimum level of B2.

11. How do I register? 

The application process is simple and straightforward. You can apply all year round. Register from the programme information page here on Galilee Institute’s website. Complete the form and upload the required documents. The application will be screened, and our registrars will contact you with instructions on the next steps.

12. How will I access my study programme? 

Once you complete your registration process and payment you will receive personal credentials (username and password) to access the e-learning platform. 

13. Can I pause the programme after starting? What happens to my tuition fees?

Certainly, you can pause the programme after commencement. Your tuition fees will be rolled over to when you resume the programme.

14. When can I start to study?

The next academic year is 2024/2025. Your study period starts on 1 August 2024 until 31 July 2025.

You can start at any time during the academic year.

15. How will I be evaluated?

The assessment is based on the following criteria:

• the results of mid-term tests that may consist of online evaluation tests (multiple-choice or open questions), mock tests, papers, workshop activities, projects
• the attendance at online activities through the platform (frequency of the interaction and quality of the attended activities)
• the results of the final exam.
