Dr. Joseph Shevel, the President of Galilee International Management Institute (GIMI) was a keynote speaker at the KIPPRA Conference 2023. The theme of the event held at Pwanu University was Accelerating Economic Growth and Development for ASALs.

Dr Shevel addressed the audience at the 6th annual regional conference mainly on the subject of Water management. He participated in the panel and plenary session on the challenges and opportunities related to the provision of clean and adequate water resources in arid and semi-arid lands (ASALs).

As an expert in water management and sustainable development, Dr. Shevel brought valuable insights and expertise to the panel discussion. He shared innovative Israeli approaches, best practices, and policy recommendations for ensuring access to clean water in ASALs.
