18/02/2023 | Creation of a GIMI Alumni Association in Ivory Coast
We were delighted to hear about a very enterprising initiative by our Ivory Coast graduates in recent months. A group of very motivated members succeeded in establishing an association to continue to work as a network and in synergy with one another. The goal is to maintain and build upon the strong ties woven during their training experience at Galilee Institute in Israel, for the socio-economic development of their country.
The association was officially inaugurated during a General Assembly held on February 18, 2023 in Cocody, Abidjan.
Mr Ouattara Francis was elected head of the association for a three-year term. According to Ms. Kone Alimata, President of the ad-hoc committee, “our major objectives revolve around the creation and maintenance of fraternal, professional relationships between members, and promotion of projects, talents and businesses of its members”.
A hundred graduates are already members of the association. They hope that the association will be able to count on the support of all Ivorian graduates soon.
Dr. Joseph Shevel, President of Galilee Institute was very happy to hear the good news and sent a video message in French to congratulate the group.
