31/08/2018 | Mount Olympus conquered by Prof. Sotiris Theofanis and Dr. Joseph Shevel

A yearly tradition for Prof. Sotiris Theofanis and Dr. Joseph Shevel is to climb Mt. Olympus in Greece. This is the 4th time that they have climbed Mt. Olympus together and this is the first time that they successfully reached the summit, Mitika. It took them 3 days of intensive hiking to climb the 3000 metres.

Prof. Theofanis , an Alumnus of Galilee Institute's Port Management Programme is now the Chairman of the Board and President of the Port of Thessaloniki, the second largest port in Greece and the main port in Northern Greece.
