01/07/2018 | 3 MOUs Signed between GIMI and the Government of Gujarat, India

A delegation of senior Galilee Institute personnel met with VIPs from the Government of Gujarat, in Tel Aviv, this Sunday 1st July. The meeting was held to sign 3 MOUs for training Indian participants. The signing was witnessed by the Chief Minister of Gujarat, the Honourable Vijay Rupani.

The specific agreements were signed with:
• The Agriculture, Farmers Welfare & Cooperation Department for training in Agriculture.
• The Gujarat Home Office, for training in Cyber Security
• Narmada and Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpsar Department for training in Water Management

The agreements ensure that 200 participants will be trained at GIMI, in each subject, over a 5 year period and in-country training will also be included. A key part is the follow-up, in-country training, to ensure that all the knowledge gained here in Israel is implemented and adapted for use in Gujarat.

GIMI will be implementing this agreement via the Executive Director for GIMI, India, Mr. Tirthankar Goyal.
