17/11/2017 | Joint Palestinian-Israeli Cooperation in Agriculture

On 17th November, Galilee Institute was proud to launch a new programme for young Palestinian and Israeli experts in agriculture (the participants have at the very least, a BA in agriculture). The programme has been designed with the cooperation of the Palestinian Near East Foundation in Nablus, West Bank. This is a new Concept of Cooperation at Galilee International Management Institute, Nahalal and is being partially funded by the EU.

15 Palestinian and 10 Israeli participants have been admitted to the programme. The programme will be delivered over 2 years and the main objective is to create joint agri-businesses. The programme focusses on olives, dates and vegetables. Every Palestinian and Israeli starting a joint business will receive a grant of €20,000 from the EU. During the 2 years of the project's duration, the participants will also receive funding and professional assistance.
