The Director of GIMI's Centre for Higher Education, Ms. Carina Baum, was invited to give two lectures in Africa, her home away from home, this time in Nigeria.
Carina's lectures on 'Motivation and Work Commitment', are based upon Carina Baum’s personal practice and the Israeli Experience.
Carina flew directly to Lagos where she was welcomed by dear graduate Pastor Joseph Oluwafunmi Lajuwomi.

The following day Carina travelled to Akure. Carina was honoured to have been invited to the Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, GIMI Graduate, Prof. Igbekele Amos Ajibefun's home, where she joined them in celebrating Prof and Mrs. Ajibefun's Wedding Anniversary and his re-election as Rector.

The next day Carina gave her well received lecture in the fourth of a series of Open lectures hosted by Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State.

Carina's next port of call was the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), Imo State. She was humbled and honoured by the warm greeting given to her by the VC Prof. Asiabaka and she enjoyed her pre-lecture meeting with him.

Later that afternoon Carina was warmly welcomed to the private home of Prof. and Mrs. Dozie. While in Owerri Carina met up with another GIMI Graduate.
