GIMI’s Unique Location

Our center is based in Nahalal, the moshav that was founded in 1921 which became the blueprint for many other moshavim.

Nahalal is an architecturally unique moshav for its’ circular shape. But more so than its’ shape is its’ structure. The residential buildings are at the core of Nahalal, just as the nuclear family is at the core of every Israeli.

Past the residential buildings in Nahalal come public buildings, such as schools, local businesses, and more. The social circle surrounds the residential core symbolizing that the social circle is a source of support and protection to the residents.

Finally on the outskirts of Nahalal are the agricultural buildings. Agriculture has always been one of Israel’s strengths, and as visitors enter Nahalal, this is the first impression they get.
