PhD in Knowledge Management - Additional Information

• Courses (60 ECTS): Knowledge management (15 ECTS), two courses in research methodology (2 x 15 ECTS), Doctoral seminar 1-2-3 as study and research support (3 x 5 ECTS)
• Individual research work (120 ECTS): includes study units offering students an opportunity to undertake doctoral research with their (potential) mentors and to develop students' PhD dissertation
• How and when: Curriculum is presented in executive format, the programme consists of integrated sequence of lectures, seminars and a final research dissertation, allowing students to balance research endeavors with work and family life.

Tuition Fee: €15,000 for 3 years in three installments:

* Tuition fee does not include registration fee €46/per year of enrollment.

Please note that following documents will be needed as part of your application process:

• A photo or a scan of the certificate of completion of higher education (diploma of completed undergraduate/postgraduate study)
• A photo or a scan of the certificate of completed study obligations, which also shows the average grade of all exams at the undergraduate/postgraduate level (diploma supplement, certified statement of the higher education institution or a copy of the index)
• A brief conceptual design of the research work in English, which includes a description of the research problem intended for research, its justification, and a description of the scientific method needed to answer the research questions
• A photo or a scan of evidence of English language proficiency (if official language in applicant's country is not English)
• A motivation letter in English, in which expectations regarding studies and personal development are defined
• A photo or a scan of references and recommendations in the English language related to past work or study
• Professional CV in English
• Copy of valid passport
• A candidate who applies with foreign educational documents has to add also:
  A scan or a photo of the translation of the certificate of completion of higher education and a certified translation of the certificate of completed study obligations, which also shows the average grade of all exams at the undergraduate/postgraduate level (a diploma supplement, a certified statement of the higher education institution or a copy of the index). A copy of the translation made by a sworn interpreter is sufficient. The education recognition authority may require the applicant to provide additional evidence if this is necessary to assess the application.
• A decision on recognition of education for the purpose of continuing education or a decision on nostrification of certificates obtained abroad in case the procedure of nostrification of certificates has already been completed.
  If the candidate does not yet have a decision, an application for recognition of education at the ISSBS shall have to be submitted. A completed electronic study application form on the eVŠ web portal is also considered as an application for the recognition of foreign education.
• A scan or a photo of the short chronological description of the entire education, signed by the candidate

Registration and enrolment via https://portal.evs.gov.si/prijava/?locale=en in the SI-PASS system is the second step. We recommend candidates to use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Mozilla Firefox to access the application.

Citizens coming from other countries than Slovenia, submit their enrolment application for study with a username and password.

Once registered in the SI-PASS system, the next step is to complete the Enrolment application for study through the eVŠ portal.
