18/01/2016 | Transport Planning, Management, Operations and Rail Safety for Kenya Railways Corporation, Part I

The programme has been designed to familiarise participants with the concepts of policy, strategic planning of railways and techniques of railway planning and management. The course presents the context of the railways system within the national development framework and its relation to other components of the transport system. Various aspects of infrastructure planning and management are described.  The first part of the programme took place in Kenya this January and the participants will be attending the second part in Israel, later on this year.
