08/03/2016 | GIMI delivers an In-Country Project Management Training Programme - Centre for Dryland Agriculture, Bayero University, Kano - Nigeria

Bayero University, (BUK) in Kano State, Nigeria has a Centre for Dry-land Agriculture (CDA) headed by Prof. Mohammed Jibrin Jibrin, one of GIMI's dear Graduates.

BUK and GIMI previously signed an MoU and Prof Jibrin invited GIMI to deliver a short in-country course on Agricultural Project Management for 24 participants selected from CDA staff. These 24 participants will then train and share their new know-how within the CDA. GIMI sent 2 expert GIMI lecturers to deliver the programme: Dr. Nathan Tirosh, the Dean of GIMI/Academic Director of Project Management, and Mr. Shlomo Sasson, Academic Director of GIMI's Agricultural Centre.

The in-country course proved so successful, that Prof. Jibrin has requested that the same programme will be delivered to the Business School of BUK very soon.
