08/03/2016 | 3rd group of field managers from IFFCO in GIMI for training in Irrigation and Intensive Crop Management
This February the Centre for Agriculture, Environment and Water hosted the third group of field managers from IFFCO, India for training in Irrigation and Intensive Crop Management. In addition to lectures and study tours, there was a practical Irrigation and Fertilisation Workshop. The study programme also included a two day visit to the Arava Desert to experience first-hand Israeli technology and innovations in intensive crop production in an arid region.
