The Galilee Institute's, Centre Middle East and Religious Studies provides courses in Middle Eastern politics and religion. The programme is a joint Israeli-Palestinian programme. Through lectures and study tours, participants gain a better understanding of the range of responses offered by the religiously and ethnically varied populations to the complex issues routinely encountered in the area. In addition, the centre also offers an Israeli art course, covering such topics as "One Hundred Years of Art in Israel", "Contemporary Israeli Art", "Arabic Artists in Israel", and "Israeli Artists Deal with the Holocaust".
