Curriculum
Resulting from the programme objectives’, the curriculum will focus on three complementing modules:

Module I: Sustainable Tourism Planning and Development
Bullet 14
 Introduction to tourism and the role of the “Golden Triangle” in developing
   a tourism product
Bullet 14 Destination Development and Project Management Application
Bullet 14 The role of SMEs in Tourism Development
Bullet 14 The Economic Evaluation of Travel and Tourism Investment
Bullet 14 The role of the MOT in Tourism Development

Outcome: The participants will have a better understanding of the Tourism Development process, the components that affect it and its contribution to the country’s economy.

Module II: Effective and Efficient Management of Tourism Destinations
Bullet 14
 Sustainability Tourism: social, economical and environmental
   consequences
Bullet 14 Sustainable Management: Saving via reducing energy consumption and
   waste production
Bullet 14 The Tourism Supply Chain and infrastructure
Bullet 14 Crisis Communication Management
Bullet 14 HR Capacity Building and its relevance to Tourism as a Service Industry

Outcome: This module will contribute to the strengthening of the participants’ personal skills. It will focus on the understanding of the participants’ role as managers in the tourism industry and their ability to influence processes in their positions.

Bullet 14 Demand Assessment and Consumer Behavior
Bullet 14 Developing a tourism brand and a Holistic Selling Proposition
Bullet 14 Tourism marketing on the Internet - official tourism websites and Web 2.0

Bullet 14 Media strategies for attracting international tourism

Outcome: This module will present practical tools to enable the marketing of tourism products and assist in generating positive media coverage and competing over tourists and visitors.

The programme includes 4 full-day study tours:

   etc)
Bullet 14 Tourism activities and attractions
Bullet 14 Cultural and Historical tourism
Bullet 14 Sustainability, Carrying Capacity and Eco-Tourism

Excursions
The programme includes 3 full-day excursions:

Bullet 14 Nazareth and The Sea of Galilee
Bullet 14 The Dead Sea
