Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Dr. Baruch Levy Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Dr. Joseph Shevel, President, GIMI started their visit in Nigeria at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) where they were warmly welcomed by our dear Graduates and faculty members. Dr. Joseph Shevel lectured about the "The Economic Development based on Education and Higher Education: The Israeli Experience"
We would like to express our gratitude to all graduates from FUTA and especially Prof. Joseph Akinlabi Fadamiro, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Development), who organised the visit.

During their visit to Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) They had very beneficial discussions on cooperation and we trust that it has strenghten the long lasting relationship between our Institutes

Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Levy and Dr. Shevel then went on to Adekunle Ajasin University, where they delighted to meet our graduates Prof. Nahzeem Oluwafemi Mimiko, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Isaac Rotimi Ajayi, Deputy Vice Chancellor and Mr. Reuben Bamidele Olotu, Registrar.

During their visit at Adekunle Ajasin University, Dr. Shevel also delivered an open lecture to which all graduates were invited and held fruitful meetings with our hosts graduates. Our special appreciation to Prof. Nahzeem Oluwafemi Mimiko for organising and hosting Maj. Gen (ret) Dr. Levy and Dr. Shevel warmly despite his busy schedule.

Dr. Nathan Tirosh Dean of GIMI and Brig. Gen. (Ret). Alon Navot, Director of Planning and development joined Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Dr. Baruch Levy, and Dr. Joseph Shevel at Enugu State and together they travelled to the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Jos for a two days workshop on “Strategy for National Development in an Era of Security Challenges”. They were all glad to be united with our host graduates and met several high ranking officials from the Nigeria government whose feedback on the workshop was very enthusiastic

Dr. Shevel was delighted to meet Prof. Hayward Mafuyai, Vice Chancellor, University of Jos , during the workshop. We are looking forward to seeing Prof. Mafuyai at Galilee Institute in the very near future
