MD (Col. Res.) Dr. Jacob Adler

Dr. Jacob Adler (retired) was the Head of the Emergency Department of Shaare Zedek Medical Centre in Jerusalem for 20 years and served during these years as the adviser on Emergencies for the Ministry of Health. He is the former Deputy Commander of the Medical Corps of the Israeli Defence Forces and was the Head of the Medical Branch of the Home Front Command during the Persian Gulf War. Dr. Adler served in the past as Director General of Magen David Adom (Israel’s equivalent of Red Cross Ambulance Services) and as Head of the Medical Support Unit of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations at the United Nations Headquarters, New York.

Dr. Yaakov Fogelman

MD, Rappaport Faculty of Medicine, Technion (Israel Institute of Technology)

Dr. Yaakov Fogelman is a Lecturer for the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine at the Technion and serves as the Head of Pain Management and Control at the Kiryat Ata Pain Clinic of the Leumit Health Fund. He is also Head of the Family Medicine Residency in the Northern Region of Israel for the Leumit Health Fund.

Mr. Amos Peleg

Mr. Amos Peleg is an architect and co-founder of SPKA Healthcare, an architecture firm that plans, designs and oversees the construction of comprehensive, healing healthcare spaces designed to enhance the healthcare experience through integrated, guest-focussed care, operations, technology, facility design, and cultural considerations. He formerly worked at various architecture firms in New York City, specialising in Healthcare projects. The projects he has headed in Israel include individual ward design for OBGYN, Internal, Intensive Care, ER, Imaging, community clinics and others. Peleg is also involved in hospital master planning, as well as logistics and supporting hospital facilities.
